3' W x 3' L x 3' H

Includes: (2) wire panels (sides) (1) wire roof panel *Gate from main coop attached to end of run extension. Extension is attached to main coop. Or opt to use the extension as a portable tractor (aka: chicken playpen). Just let me know and I will make sure it can be easily detached on a daily basis, and that we include (1) additional wire panel and (1) wire gate. This will cost slightly more, so contact me to arrange pricing. $90 (each 3' extension) Extra Nesting Box
You typically need 1 nesting box for every 2-3 chickens. But some chickens might be a little fiesty and not like to share...or you may want to avoid any hassles for when you add to your flock and need the extra nesting box! It is best to add it with your coop order so I can custom fit and install it for you.
$20 Extra Roosting Pole
The ladder that comes with the coops are typically only used for the first 6 months your chickens are using the coop. They quickly learn that they can jump up to the roosting pole or nesting box platform.
You can either opt out of the ladder and I will provide an extra roosting pole, or purchase an extra roosting pole and I will include it with your order and you can install when the time comes. $10 (includes screws and instructions) Predator Proofing
The exterior panels of the chicken coops are secure from predators. Many people advise to safeguard against predators that can dig from the outside and under the coop.
Foundation Method: A solution that is highly suggested is to set the coop on a foundation of buried concrete block. If an animal tries to dig, it will hit the concrete block instead. (1) layers of concrete block is suggested (~8" deep) Wire Perimeter: Others have also buried wire shaped like an 'L', with the leg of the wire pointing away from the coop for about 1'-1 1/2'. If an animal tries to dig, it will hit the wire instead. Wire Floor: Lay 1/2" hardware cloth on the ground and then set the coop on top. Only problem with this method is cleaning is sometimes problematic if the rake gets caught in the wire. If you use a deep litter method for your bedding inside, this shouldn't pose a problem. Additional Info
You provide:
-the chickens -waterer -feed/feeder -bedding for the ground of the coop. (ie: wood shavings or hay/straw) -additional predator proofing to prevent animals from digging under the coop to eat the chicken feed (or your chickens). I can help you with this! (ie: raccoons, mice, rats, moles, gophers...you name it!) **Very important: The ground the coop will be placed needs to be solid, level ground. I suggest installing a simple foundation of concrete block buried in the ground. This provides a solid, level place for the coop and also helps deter animals from digging under the coop to get inside. Materials: The fasteners/hardware that I use are appropriate for exterior conditions and connection with cedar. I use either a rubberized liner or reused billboard tarp in the garden bed to ensure water does not leak to the interior of the coop. (Depends on stock availability of billboard tarp) I also install (2) copper drains to keep the garden roof well-drained for a healthy garden. Your coop will be handed over to you, ready for your chickens to move-in and for you to start gardening! FREE local delivery OR FREE Shipping! If you live within 30 miles of Seattle, I can deliver the coop and fully install for you! I am now able to ship nationally! My current lead time is 3-4 weeks and shipping usually takes an additional 3-5 days. The coop will come MOSTLY assembled on a pallet and the delivery truck will have a lift gate. The gates are not attached. You will need a drill to attach the gates to the coop. KIPPEN HOUSE: Seattle & Portland. Modern, urban chicken coops, made-to-order.
